My name is Allison Cooney. I am an Independent Consultant for Arbonne in Winnipeg, MB. Having just moved back from almost 18 years in Alberta, I had already made some big changes in my life and thought, what's one more big one going to take? Surprisingly... not a lot.

I chose the Arbonne opportunity as I truly enjoy sharing great products with people I care about, and have done so over the years of home based parties, without ever really reaping the benefits. (If I could only tell you how much Pampered Chef product I've sold, without having ever been a consultant). I had been casually looking into several product lines when a friend (Kandace) popped through town, we met for lunch and she told me about the exciting opportunity she had just become involved in.

Her skin looked great!!! But more than this, what echoed in my head was, safe, pure, botanically based product no animal by-products, natural, as low in parabens as possible (and almost none) all in a line of products that is used over and over by people, what could be better???

I, and am very excited at the opportunity to use more natural products, though I was already moving that way with some of my body care choices. I am also VERY excited to share information about these products with the people in my life who will benefit from the product, but even more so, the business opportunity, which may change mine, and many others' lives. In these financially unstable times, I'm glad to be in such a steady place, as Manitoba is, however, layoffs can happen anywhere, and have been happening all around us. If you get a home based business started and rolling now, and if a layoff was to occur in the not too distant future, you wouldn't have to worry as much about where some money may be coming from.

If you're a working mom, and your child is ill, usually you would have to stay home from work and miss out on some pay. If your work is at your home, and it's your own business, you're never missing work and you're never capable of being laid off. What a brilliant opportunity.

Part of the life goals I've set for myself in the past couple of years have been to spend less time working and more time playing, and well, why not look great doing so?
